Home of the first ironworks in Canada. The ironworks founded in 1730 operated for over 150 years. Program and activities include guided tours, tours of the Ironmaster’s House and the blast furnace interpretation center, display of ironwork, sound and light show with a scale model of the village of the period, walking trail along the industrial valley and residential area, picnic areas, nature trail (1.5 km), handicapped access.
